• Profile and booking information: information you provide when creating a profile, booking a session, or communicating with a therapist through the platform, which may include sensitive information related to your mental health, religious practice, or personal circumstances.
• Usage data: how you interact with the Service, including pages visited, courses viewed, and general device/browser information.
• Communications: messages you send to us for support, or feedback you provide.
• Payment information: if and when payment features are enabled, payment details will be processed by a third-party payment provider; Kahf does not store full payment card details on its own servers.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Match you with an appropriate, verified therapist
• Operate, maintain, and improve the Service
• Communicate with you about your account, bookings, or courses
• Ensure the safety, security, and integrity of the platform
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. How Information Is Shared

We may share information with:

• Therapists you book with, to the extent necessary to provide care
• Service providers who help us operate the platform, such as our hosting and database provider (Supabase), authentication providers (such as Google), and, once enabled, payment processors
• Legal authorities, if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Kahf, our users, or others

Any third party we share data with is only permitted to use it to provide services on our behalf, not for their own independent purposes.

4. Sensitive Information

Because Kahf relates to mental health support, some information you share may be considered sensitive. We take extra care with this information and limit access to what is necessary to provide the Service. Conversations and records between you and your therapist are treated as confidential, subject to the therapist's own professional and legal obligations.

5. International Data Transfers

Kahf is built and operated from Pakistan and serves users primarily in North America. This means your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in a country other than the one in which you live. We take steps to protect your information regardless of where it is processed.

6. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see Section 8).

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your information
• Object to or restrict certain processing
