Kahf Terms of Service

1. About Kahf

Kahf is a platform that connects individuals with verified, independent Islamic psychologists and mental health practitioners, and provides educational content and courses related to Islamic psychology. Kahf itself is not a medical provider and does not provide therapy, diagnosis, or treatment. Therapists on the platform are independent professionals responsible for the care they provide.

2. Not for Emergencies

Kahf is not designed for use in a medical or mental health emergency. If you are experiencing a crisis, in danger, or having thoughts of harming yourself or others, please contact your local emergency services or a crisis hotline immediately. Do not rely on Kahf for emergency support.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the Service. By using Kahf, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

4. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Please notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

5. Booking and Using Services

• When you book a session with a therapist through Kahf, you are entering into a professional relationship directly with that therapist. Kahf facilitates the connection and, where applicable, the transaction, but is not a party to the clinical relationship itself.
• Course content and educational materials are provided for informational and educational purposes and are not a substitute for individualized professional care.

6. Payments

Payment features may be introduced on the platform. Once enabled, pricing, billing terms, and refund policies will be presented to you at the time of purchase or booking, and payments will be processed by a third-party payment provider.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
• Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm another person

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Kahf does not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular outcome will result from using the Service or engaging with a therapist through it.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kahf and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service, including any care or advice provided by a therapist accessed through the platform.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you through the Service or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
